Six New Art Books Released in May 2020
Artribune launches a weekly column highlighting the most interesting new art and culture publications. Among the six featured books: the second volume of Mimmo Rotella's catalogue raisonné (1962-1973), edited by the late critic Germano Celant and published by Skira in collaboration with the Mimmo Rotella Institute and Foundation; Irene Sanesi's fundraising manual 'Give back: l'arte del fundraising per la cultura' (Marcos Y Marcos); 'Très', three illustrated stories by Ferruccio Giromini with Cesare Reggiani, part of the a2mani artist-book series; 'Nolite timere, Roma non perit 2020' (Il Cigno GG Edizioni), documenting Rome under COVID-19 lockdown with photos and texts by artists and intellectuals including Gigi Proietti and Pope Francis; 'Cartaruga', a children's activity magazine by Martina Falzone and Marco Scalcione; and Anna Maria Monteverdi's 'Leggere uno spettacolo multimediale' (Dino Audino Editore) on techno-theatre from motion capture to AI.
