Six new art books from Wim Wenders to Artonauti
In 2022, Italy saw the release of six new art publications. Gian Biagio Conte's 'I diritti della filologia (e i doveri dell’interprete)' (Salerno Editrice, Rome, 2022, 88 pp., €11.90) explores the tension between interpretation and textual authenticity. Wim Wenders' 'L’atto di vedere' (Meltemi, Milan, 2022², 276 pp., €20) includes writings from 1988 to 1992 about various artists, connecting to his documentary on Anselm Kiefer. Giulio Iacchetti's 'Semplici formalità' (Johan & Levi, Monza, 2022, 96 pp., €16) presents 32 minimalist objects. Daniela Re's 'Crea, colora e gioca' (WizArt, Milan, 2022, 64 pp., €7.90) serves as an activity book, while Nicolas Ballario's '10×10. Storie di donne fotografe' (24 Ore Cultura, Milan, 2022, 208 pp., €59.90) highlights ten female photographers.
