Six New Art Books: From Uffizi to Anish Kapoor
A roundup of six recent art publications spans centuries and styles. The catalog accompanying Anish Kapoor's dual exhibition in Venice is edited by Taco Dibbits and includes essays by physicist Carlo Rovelli. The restored Terrazzo delle Carte Geografiche at the Uffizi, featured in Dario Argento's film, is documented in a volume published by Nomos. Mark Rothko's writings from 1934 to 1969 are reissued by Donzelli in a new edition with color reproductions, edited by Riccardo Venturi. - Last retrospective of Della Torre in Italy was in 1989 at PAC in Milan; major museum collection at Villa dei Cedri in Bellinzona.
