Six New Art Books: From Christo to Pinocchio

Artribune highlights six recent art and culture publications. Zornitza Kratchmarova's 'Trasformazioni. L’arte nascosta di Christo e Jeanne-Claude' (Morellini Editore, €13.90) offers behind-the-scenes accounts of ten monumental installations by the duo, with a preface by sociologist Ettore Camuffo. Mariopaolo Fadda's 'Altamont 1969. I Rolling Stones e il concerto della morte' (Odoya, €16) reconstructs the violent Altamont Free Concert where Hells Angels served as security, marking the end of the flower power era. Una nuova interpretazione della vita e delle Opere' (Zecchini Editore, €33) marks the composer's 250th birth anniversary.
