Six new art books: Banksy, Benassi, Daverio and more

Artribune's weekly roundup of new art and culture publications features six titles. Fausto Gilberti adds Banksy to his series of illustrated artist monographs, following Piero Manzoni, Yves Klein, Jackson Pollock, Marcel Duchamp, Lucio Fontana, and Yayoi Kusama. The proceedings of a conference on artistic heritage and deaf people, organized by The Blank with Tate, Reina Sofia, and Thyssen-Bornemisza, have been published, resulting in seven cultural mediators trained in sign language. Sergio Tuccio's photo book 'Roma' captures the city in black and white, evoking nostalgia. Riccardo Benassi's 'Morestalgia', supported by Italian Council, explores how internet changed nostalgia, presented as an installation and lecture performance, now released as a paperback by NERO Editions and Xing. Monica Nanetti's guide 'La Via Francigena svizzera' covers 220 km in 11 stages from France to Italy. Philippe Daverio's 'Racconto dell'arte occidentale dai greci alla pop art' surveys 3,000 years of Western art, published by Solferino.
