Sissi's Podcast Monologue and Digital Diary 'Abitamenti'

Artist Sissi, born in Bologna in 1977, participated in 'Monologhi al Telefono', a series curated by Donatella Giordano for Artribune's podcast. In her monologue, Sissi compares herself to a bulb inside her home, waiting for a call to read words written for the occasion, focusing on her patient and infinite dedication to her work. Her artistic research involves analyzing the human body and redrawing its forms, drawing from medical books and tailoring patterns to experiment with diverse languages, techniques, and materials, creating clothing, performances, sculptures, drawings, and photographs. Recently, via Palazzo Bentivoglio's Instagram profile, she launched 'Abitamenti', a digital diary of drawings published daily, reimagining the experience of her exhibition 'Vestimenti', which closed early due to the Italian health emergency.
