Sip & Guzzle Tops North America's 50 Best Bars List
On Tuesday evening in Vancouver, the 50 Best Bars organization revealed that Sip & Guzzle in New York City has secured the title of the top bar in North America. This Greenwich Village cocktail venue ascended from last year's fifth position, displacing Mexico City’s Handshake Speakeasy, which had dominated for two years and now ranks at No. 12. New York City boasts three of the top five bars: Sip & Guzzle, Bar Snack (No. 3, debut), and Schmuck (No. 4, debut, opened January 2025). Mexico City’s Bar Mauro (No. 2) and Tlecān (No. 5) complete the list. Noteworthy New York bars include Superbueno (No. 9) and Attaboy (No. 37). Emma Sleight commended the bars for their global influence.
