Singular Bank's AI assistant saves bankers 90 minutes daily

Singular Bank, a private institution located in Madrid, has introduced Singularity, an AI assistant powered by OpenAI's ChatGPT and Codex. This tool aids bankers in analyzing client portfolios in real time, preparing for meetings, and crafting compliant follow-up messages. By streamlining meeting prep from approximately 20 minutes to under 1 minute, reducing call report time from 15–20 minutes to less than 30 seconds, and cutting down investment argument preparation from 10–15 minutes to about 20 seconds, each banker saves 60 to 90 minutes daily. Over a month, bankers completed more than 3,500 operations across 19 workflows, averaging 120 daily. CEO Javier Marín noted that the system enhances client interactions by allowing bankers to focus on conversations rather than data review. Integrated into the bank's core systems, it also boosts traceability and regulatory compliance, reinforcing that AI serves to support rather than replace bankers.
