The eighth edition of the Singapore Biennale, running from October 31, 2025, to March 29, 2026, showcases more than 100 artworks in five different neighborhoods under the theme "pure intention," commemorating Singapore's 60th anniversary of independence. At Lucky Plaza, Eisa Jocson presents a karaoke installation featuring music videos with H.O.M.E. members. Gala Porras-Kim displays picnic sheets at Peninsula Plaza that highlight poems by Burmese migrants. Joo Choon Lin transforms film objects in his installation at Tanglin Halt. The Singapore Art Museum features Lim Mu Hue's woodcuts and Tristan Duke's photographs of industrial landscapes. Tuan Andrew Nguyen's Temple at the National Gallery features bells suspended from defused bombs.
