festival-fair · 2026-04-20

Celebrating its tenth anniversary, Singapore Art Week 2022 features more than 130 events held in unique locations such as malls and hawker centres, all within a challenging COVID-19 backdrop. The Tanjong Pagar Distripark serves as a central hub, showcasing three exhibitions, including 'Refuse' by The Observatory and 'A Machine Boosting Energy into the Universe' by Korakrit Arunanondchai. Open-call exhibitions present 'Bad Imitation' by Berny Tan and Daniel Chong, along with 'after-party' by Khairullah Rahim and Nghia Phung. Curated by Joyce Toh, SEA Focus highlights works from Moses Tan and Tammy Nguyen. Notable attractions include Donna Ong's 'Somewhere Else' at Gillman Barracks and 'Free Jazz IV' at NTU Centre of Contemporary Art. The festival, initiated in 2013, concludes on January 23, 2022.
