Simpsons reimagined in Soviet style by Lazy Square
Illustrator Lenivko Kvadratjić, known as Lazy Square, created a viral video reimagining The Simpsons in a Soviet aesthetic. The opening sequence is reinterpreted with dark, post-apocalyptic settings: Bart becomes a heroin-addicted bully, Lisa is forced to play saxophone and beg, and Marge and Homer fight violently in front of a broken TV. The soundtrack features the Balkan folk song Ederlezi. The video has been circulating online for weeks.
