Simone Cametti's 'Media montagna' at Spazio K, Urbino

Simone Cametti (Rome, 1982) presents 'Media montagna', a solo exhibition at Spazio K, the underground space of the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino, as part of the second edition of the 'Cambi di rotta' review. The show explores mountain as metaphor through video, sound, light installations, and mixed media. Works include recordings of stones on ice, neon tubes evoking lightning trapped in wooden crates, a video-performance spraying green pigment on dry grass, and old 1940s songs by Tina Allori (the artist's grandmother) echoing in a marble quarry. Cametti, who began his artistic training in Urbino, currently works with the Dolomiti Contemporanee project. The exhibition runs at Spazio K – Galleria Nazionale delle Marche.
