Simone Berti designs limited edition label for San Leonardo 2018
The San Leonardo estate has launched "Arte a San Leonardo," a project commissioning artists to create limited edition labels and artist books for its wines. For the 2018 vintage, artist Simone Berti designed the label after a residency at the estate. The label adorns 999 numbered bottles, available exclusively online on March 21-22, 2025. Berti also produced an artist book titled "L'Attesa non è tempo sprecato" in 120 numbered copies. The project aims to narrate the territory's history through art. San Leonardo is located in Alto Adige, in the historic hamlet of San Leonardo, surrounded by vineyards and gardens near Villa Gresti. The estate, once a monastery over a thousand years ago, has been the residence of the Marchesi Guerrieri Gonzaga for three centuries. It spans 300 hectares, with 30 hectares of vineyards protected by the Trentino mountains and benefiting from microclimatic conditions influenced by Lake Garda.
