Simona Squadrito: From Model to Curator and Editor

Simona Squadrito, a philosopher by training specializing in aesthetics, describes her unconventional path into the art world. She never considered herself a curator but rather an amateur or intellectual. Her formative experience was posing for two painters for over three years, which gave her intimate insight into the creative process. Her first curated show, "1+1+1 = 1+1+1," took place in 2015. In 2014, she began working with Charly Lioce, founder of Room Galleria. Beyond curating, she works as an editor for a provincial print periodical and contributes to ATP Diary.
