Simona Andrioletti's First Milan Solo Show at Twenty14 Contemporary

exhibition · 2026-05-05

Simona Andrioletti (Bergamo, 1990; lives in Milan and Munich) presents her first solo exhibition in Milan at Twenty14 Contemporary, located in Piazza Mentana. Titled '… And there was evening and there was morning', the show runs until June 19, 2016. The selected works originate from a question that leads to a new question and a final preparation for a restart. Sculptural and photographic interventions suggest a non-linear compositional path, as seen in the drawing of climber Mondinelli accompanied by a projection of the Everest profile on granite. At the base of 228 Scrabble tiles remains the idea of combining a language that seeks in the origin of every principle a new subjugation of traces linking a metaphorical role to a real one. The exhibition unites with instinct and associative speed Molotov explosions with gravel mixtures against Sardinian saltiness.
