Silvia Fiorentino's Fragility Anthropology at Museo Nori De’ Nobili

Silvia Fiorentino, a Milanese artist living in Ancona, presents her solo exhibition 'Antropologia della fragilità' at the Museo Nori De’ Nobili in Trecastelli, curated by Simona Zava. The show explores female fragility through ceramic metaphors, organized into three thematic paths: the feminine universe, poetry, and human waste. The feminine universe delves into women as both gift and giver, intertwining fullness and emptiness. The poetry section examines the relationship between artistic making (poiesis) and the word as life-generators. The 'human waste' reflection broadens to societal marginalization, suggesting those on the edges are uniquely capable of self-narration. Concave forms dominate, evoking the womb/vessel archetype, symbolizing emptiness as potential. The exhibition runs at the Centro Studi sulla Donna nelle Arti Visive Contemporanee.
