Sigur Rós to Conclude World Tour with Two Orchestral Shows in Berlin

Icelandic post-rock band Sigur Rós will end their world tour in September with two final orchestral concerts at the UBER EATS MUSIC HALL in Berlin. The tour, which began after the release of their 2023 album 'ÁTTA', has featured the band performing with regional orchestras worldwide. In Berlin, they will be joined by The Young Class X Orchester and Choir, conducted by Robert Ames, who also arranged the band's music for orchestra alongside María Huld Markan Sigfúsdóttir. Keyboardist Kjartan Sveinsson expressed excitement about performing surrounded by the musicians they have played with over the past four years. The band has previously collaborated with the Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra and the Symphony Orchestra in Melbourne. These Berlin concerts mark the last opportunity for fans to experience this unique event.
