Signal V: Large-Scale Works from Robert Runták Collection at Telegraph Gallery
Telegraph Gallery in Olomouc presents Signal V, the fifth edition of its exhibition series featuring objects and installations from the Robert Runták Collection. Curated by Jan Kudrna, the show runs through 24 September 2026. The exhibition deliberately removes monumental works from cold museum settings into the more intimate context of a former industrial hall. Artists include Krištof Kintera, Jiří Příhoda, Milena Dopitová, Roman Ondak, David Možný, and Anna Hulačová. Kintera's 'Plumbař' is a steel vault with a corroded figure inside; Možný's 'Heat Wave' sinks a vintage caravan into the floor; Dopitová's 'Helmets' features fabric-wrapped forms from the early 1990s; Příhoda's 'Billboard' is a grid of metal panels; Ondak's 'Morning' is a still life of eggshells; and Hulačová's 'Breakfast of a Teenager' includes a plaster figure. The collection argues that acquiring large-scale works is not only an institutional prerogative but also a personal choice.
