Siena inaugura il primo Street Art Quarter con sette artisti e QR code

On December 15, 2016, Siena celebrated the opening of its first Street Art Quarter, titled (A) Round 1: Presenti/Assenti. This project, initiated by the Siena Municipality and financially supported by the Tuscany Region via the Toscanaincontemporanea 2016 grant, showcases young artists from Italy and abroad who are active in Tuscany. The event featured seven street artists, including Benedetto Cristofani and Silvia Scaringella, who created murals inspired by esteemed local personalities like Cecco Angiolieri and Italo Calvino. Art critic Gaia Pasi curated the exhibition, which also involved a community initiative with QR codes designed by local students.
