Siena Honors Ceramist Valter Boj with First Posthumous Exhibition
Siena will pay tribute to the late ceramist Valter Boj with his first posthumous exhibition titled "Nel blu dipinto di Blu," scheduled from May 22 to May 30, 2026, at Parco di Santa Chiara in the Nobile Contrada del Nicchio. Curated by Carlo Pizzichini, the exhibition is supported by the Associazione Arte dei Vasai and has received patronage from the Comune di Siena, Comune di Albisola Superiore, and Santa Maria della Scala. Born in Nuoro in 1959 and raised in Albisola Superiore, Boj was known for his cobalt blue ceramics, notably "Di che colore è il tuo cielo," and will be honored with the "Antica Arte dei Vasai" award.
