Dezeen Awards 2026 has announced five new judges: Sibylla Hartel (partner at Gustafson Porter + Bowman) for architecture; Alexy Kos and Che Huang (co-founders of Child Studio) for interiors; and Charlot Magayi (founder and CEO of Mukuru Clean Stoves) and Todd Bracher (creative director of Humanscale) for design. The awards, in partnership with Trimble, are open for entries until 23:59 London time on 27 May 2026. Hartel brings botanical expertise to the architecture jury, having worked on Taikoo Place in Hong Kong and a planted tower in the City of London. Kos and Huang's Child Studio is known for residential and hospitality interiors in historic buildings, with recent projects including a Mayfair pied-à-terre and a Belgravia townhouse. Magayi's social enterprise has distributed over 700,000 clean cookstoves and launched a mosquito-repellent fuel; she received the Earthshot Prize in 2022 and was named a TIME Climate 100 Leader in 2025. Bracher, who has spent over a decade at Humanscale, designed the Path and Trea chairs; his Nova lamp won Dezeen Awards workplace design of the year in 2024.
