Short film 'L'Ultima Notte' aims to revive Correggio's forgotten masterpiece in Parma
Directed by Irish Braschi, the short film 'L'Ultima Notte' aims to enhance awareness of Correggio's frescoes located in the Camera di San Paolo in Parma. These frescoes, crafted by Antonio Allegri, known as Correggio, between 1518 and 1519 for Abbess Giovanna Piacenza's room in the Convent of San Paolo, are a Renaissance treasure that draws only 30,000 visitors each year. Recently, the film was showcased at the Quirinale in Rome. This initiative, backed by 'Parma, io ci sto!', established in 2016 by Alessandro Chiesi, Guido Barilla, Andrea Pontremoli, the Unione Parmense degli Industriali, and Fondazione Cariparma, includes a new LED lighting system and an upcoming scientific publication.
