SHL0MS Tricks Thousands into Critiquing a Real Monet as AI-Generated Performance Art

Anonymous artist SHL0MS posted a high-resolution scan of Claude Monet's Water Lilies (c. 1915) on X, claiming it was AI-generated, and asked viewers to explain why it was inferior to a 'real' Monet. Thousands responded with detailed critiques of brushstrokes, composition, and aesthetics, unaware they were analyzing an actual Monet.
