Sherris and Trim Launch Sustainable Summer Collection with Deadstock Fabrics

New York designer Maayan Sherris, known for her women's swimwear line, has entered menswear by collaborating with Los Angeles-based brand Trim, designed by Richard Xiang. Their new collection features Sherris's swim trunks, tees, and climbing pants made from recycled nylon, paired with Trim's colorful polos crafted from deadstock cotton, with prices ranging from $120 to $250. The collaboration aims to demonstrate that summer style can be eco-friendly, using exclusively deadstock fabrics. Sherris emphasizes the functionality of her designs, noting they can be worn for swimming, running, or casual outings. The collection is inspired by active lifestyles, with many pieces photographed by Tair Adato on a beach in Cyprus, where models are shown rock-climbing—a sport both designers appreciate for its athletic and community aspects. Sherris sources her deadstock nylons from Manhattan's garment district, between 35th and 39th streets and 7th and 8th Avenues, where she enjoys hunting for quality materials. The designers suggest the pieces are versatile, suitable for picnics, concerts, BBQs, and even clubbing, and can be worn beyond the beach.
