Sheila Hicks Unveils Cosmic Jewelry at Venice Biennale

On May 6, Sheila Hicks unveiled her Cosmic Jewelry collection at the Venice Biennale, with the presentation facilitated by the Elisabetta Cipriani Gallery from London. This jewelry line, developed in collaboration with Atelier L & L (Louise Zanartu and Louis Boudart), transforms her distinctive textile artistry into wearable pieces featuring wrapped threads, minerals, and gemstones. The collection was displayed at the Monaco & Grand Canal Hotel, alongside creations by artists such as Giorgio Vigna, Michele Oka Doner, Giampaolo Babetto, Jacqueline Ryan, and Satta Matturi. Renowned for her large fiber installations, Hicks previously showcased her work at the 2017 Biennale and is set for a major exhibition at the Musée du Quai Branly in 2025. The exhibition will continue until May 10.
