Sharjah Foundation Opens Applications for 2015 March Meeting with SB12 Curator Eungie Joo

The Sharjah Foundation has issued an invitation for artists, writers, and researchers to engage in the 2015 March Meeting (MM2015), taking place from 11–16 May in Sharjah. This yearly gathering is a fundamental aspect of the Sharjah Biennial's schedule. Following up on the themes introduced by March Meeting 2014: Come Together, MM2015 seeks to contextualize the current Biennial, Sharjah Biennial 12: The past, the present, the possible (SB12), which will be accessible until 5 June 2015. Eungie Joo, the curator for SB12, has enlisted various contributors, including Kristine Khouri, Rasha Salti, Eric Baudelaire, Ayreen Anastas, and Rene Gabri, to shape the meeting’s format, which will include panels, keynote speeches, discussions, and screenings.
