Sharjah Art Foundation Announces Autumn 2025 Program with New Photography Gallery and Park Redesign
In November, the Sharjah Art Foundation will unveil its autumn 2025 program, featuring a new photography gallery in Al Manakh and the revamped Al Majarrah Park, designed by Superflex and KWY.studio. The lineup includes solo exhibitions from artists Afra Al Dhaheri, Leda Catunda, and Rachid Koraïchi. A bronze sculpture titled Badjgama Ngunda Whuliwulawala (Black Women Rising), honoring Aboriginal women and created by Alison Page alongside 20 local Aboriginal women, is set to be unveiled at Circular Quay in early 2027. On June 12, Hila Cohen-Schneiderman was appointed as the director of the Center for Contemporary Art in Tel Aviv-Yafo. Additionally, Frieze House Seoul will debut in September, and Sullivan+Strumpf will launch a new gallery in Tiong Bahru on July 24.
