Shanghai Biennale Reveals 15th Edition Artists; Dubai Museum by Tadao Ando; Tibetan Activists Protest Cai Guo-Qiang

The 15th Shanghai Biennale, titled 'Does the flower hear the bee?', is set to commence on November 8, 2025, at the Power Station of Art. Curated by Kitty Scott, the event will showcase 67 artists and more than 250 works, running until March 31, 2026. Featured artists include Francis Alÿs and Theaster Gates. In Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum announced plans for the Dubai Museum of Art (DUMA) along Dubai Creek, designed by Tadao Ando. On October 22, 2025, Tibetan activists demonstrated against Cai Guo-Qiang's performance at the Centre Pompidou in Paris. Additionally, the Hoam Museum of Art in Seoul will present Lee Ufan's 'Silentium (2025)' on November 4, 2025, while National Gallery Singapore revealed Tuan Andrew Nguyen's 'Temple (2025)' on October 25, 2025. The RAK Art Foundation granted its 2025 prize on October 24, 2025.
