Seventh Annual Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk Features Over 200 Artists in Brooklyn

On June 5th and 6th, from 1 to 6 pm, the 2010 Atlantic Avenue ArtWalk will take place, covering areas such as Brooklyn Heights, Cobble Hill, Boerum Hill, and Downtown Brooklyn, including Brooklyn Bridge Park. Featuring over 200 artists, the event includes live music, open studios, public art installations, and gallery exhibitions. Mac Premo, who created an Emmy-winning PSA in 2007, will open his studio at 132-134 Nevins Street. Outdoor highlights consist of Molly Dilworth’s Paintings for Satellites at 388 Atlantic Ave and live painting by Christina Mendoza on Nevins Street. At 312 Atlantic, Axelle Fine Art will host a Print Studio Open House, while non-traditional spaces like Rico Furniture will display artists’ works. Restaurants will offer specials, including the Atlantic 'Beer' Garden at 527-535 Atlantic on Saturday night.
