Seven New York Gallery Exhibitions to See Before Summer Ends

Firelei Báez showcases her vibrant debut at Hauser & Wirth, featuring paintings, works on paper, and large bronze sculptures that delve into Caribbean history, mythology, migration, and identity, available until July 31. Gabriel Orozco's Public Nature, commissioned by Public Art Fund, introduces ten unique photographic installations in JCDecaux bus shelters throughout New York City, marking his inaugural major public art project in the area, on display until September 6. Almine Rech hosts two solo shows: Farah Atassi's Metamorphosis, highlighting abstract geometric paintings, and Haley Josephs's U.S. solo debut with surreal figurative pieces. Carol Bove's immersive installation at the Guggenheim's spiral rotunda, featuring her creative process and a chess table, runs through August 2. EGEVÆRK, a Danish design studio led by Mette Bentzen and Lasse Kristensen, showcases hand-carved furniture at HB381 in Tribeca until August 14, following a residency at the Wendell Castle Workshop. ACA Galleries exhibits Style Continuation, displaying rarely seen works from private collections that reflect New York City's evolving identity, until August 21. Andreas Schulze's Cake, his first exhibition at Sprüth Magers in New York, concludes on July 31.
