Seven Artists Shortlisted for London's Fourth Plinth 2026 and 2028

London's Fourth Plinth project in Trafalgar Square is set to feature new sculptures in 2026 and 2028 from seven selected artists, including Chila Kumari Singh Burman and Gabriel Chaile. Supported by Bloomberg Philanthropies, the Mayor of London, and Arts Council England, the upcoming installations will take the place of existing works, including Teresa Margolles' piece representing 850 transgender individuals and Samson Kambalu’s sculptural homage to historical figures. The final choice of artworks will involve public voting alongside the judgment of the Fourth Plinth Commissioning Group.
