Settantaventidue: A Non-Profit Art Space Opens in Milan's Navigli District

institutional · 2026-04-26

In November 2023, Settantaventidue, a non-profit space, was inaugurated at Via Ludovico il Moro 1 in Milan's Navigli district, named after the RAL 7022 hue of its exterior. Established by Alessandro Scotti, Daniel Marzona, Luca Pitoni, Giuseppe Ielasi, Nicola Mafessoni, and Bruno Tonini, it emphasizes contemporary art, architecture, sound art, design, music, and publishing. Recent exhibitions have showcased artists such as Cesare Leonardi and Sol LeWitt. Funded by donations, the organization seeks to eliminate barriers to accessing art, providing live performances and archival resources. Scotti has detailed four primary initiatives, including House of Estates, which presents archives of late artists. Over the past year and a half, the space has featured more than fifty projects, incorporating international contributions.
