Sethembile Msezane screens Falling and discusses work at ArtReview Bar in London

On Wednesday, 23 January, at 6:30pm, South African artist Sethembile Msezane will present her 2017 film Falling and engage in a conversation with Louise Darblay from ArtReview. The event will take place at the ArtReview Bar, located at 1 Honduras Street, London EC1Y 0TH. Attendees are asked to RSVP via email to rsvp@artreview.com. Msezane, who resides in Cape Town, delves into themes of spirituality and African knowledge through diverse artistic mediums. She first gained prominence during the #RhodesMustFall movement in 2015. Her work has been showcased in Paris, Cape Town, and Amsterdam, and she will hold her solo exhibition Speaking through Walls from 25 January to 13 April, along with presenting Signal Her Return III on 1 February at Nottingham's New Art Exchange.
