Set Up Returns to Punta della Dogana for Second Edition

Set Up, the performing arts festival organized by Palazzo Grassi – Punta della Dogana in collaboration with Enrico Bettinello, returns for its second edition on February 23-24, 2018. The site-specific event takes place at Punta della Dogana, the restored venue designed by Tadao Ando, which typically hosts exhibitions from the Pinault collection. The festival features two evenings of music, dance, and performance by Italian and international artists. On Friday, February 23, the lineup includes cellist Ernst Reijseger, the duo OoopopoiooO (Vincenzo Vasi and Valeria Sturba), the dance collective CollettivO CineticO directed by Francesca Pennini and Angelo Pedroni, electronic musician Laurel Halo, and the duo Mouse on Mars (Andi Toma and Jan St. Werner). Saturday, February 24, features Alessandro Sciarroni, electropop artist Leila Gharib (aka Sequoyah Tiger), Slovenian industrial band Laibach, Bavarian musician Chris Imler, and experimental artist Matthew Herbert. The festival aims to foster dialogue between complementary performing disciplines.
