SET Architects on Winning the Bologna Shoah Memorial Competition and New Generations Festival

architecture-design · 2026-05-05

At the fourth New Generations Festival held in Rome, SET Architects, comprising Onorato di Manno, Lorenzo Catena, and Andrea Tanci, engaged in discussions on Urban Vocabulary & Public Space and Digital Infrastructure. Founded in 2013 by Gianpiero Venturini, the festival served as a platform for innovative ideas. SET collaborated with mintLIST, represented by Giulia Milza and Maria Azzurra Rossi, to create Press Box, a temporary installation functioning as a press office. The collective, recognized for winning the Memoriale per la Shoah competition in Bologna, led by Peter Eisenman, has been active since 2015. They are also focused on revitalizing the Roma Sud–Roma Est tramway, utilizing lightweight materials to construct Press Box within six hours.
