Sesc Santo André Presents Sound Art Exhibition 'Entre Bordas – Sons que Escapam'

Sesc Santo André presents the in-person exhibition 'Entre Bordas – Sons que Escapam,' curated by Paula Braga. The show explores the concept of potential sound, paying homage to musician and performer John Cage. It features works by Bruno Kurru, Marília Coelho, Paulo Nenflídio, Renan Marcondes, Sandra Cinto, and Thomaz Rosa, addressing sonic subtlety, quietude, and the enunciative power of potential sound. This collective exhibition is part of the 'Entre Bordas' series organized by Sesc SP, inviting artists and curators connected to the ABC Paulista region. Originally scheduled to begin in March, the exhibition was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. During this period, Sesc produced videos and content for virtual engagement. The exhibition runs until March 2021, with visits limited to groups of 10 people every 30 minutes for safety. Mandatory health protocols include temperature checks and mask usage.
