Ses12naus Weekend launches Santa Gertrudis Commission for 10th anniversary

On June 5-6, 2026, Fundación Ses12naus will mark its ten-year anniversary of artist residencies with the inaugural Ses12naus Weekend in Ibiza, introducing the Santa Gertrudis Commission for site-specific projects. The event at La Carpintería will feature exhibitions, discussions, guided tours, and performances. Iranian designer Sina Sohrab will kick off the design residency, Something for an Island, on June 5 at 18:00. Works by Gala Knörr, Diogo da Cruz, and Marina Marón will be showcased. A breakfast conversation with Rasmus Rosengren Nielsen and Ángeles Ferragut is scheduled for June 6 at 11:00, followed by a performance by SUPERFLEX at 19:00 to unveil the Santa Gertrudis Commission. All events are free with registration. Founded in 2016 and established as a nonprofit in 2022, Ses12naus will develop a 2,100-square-meter site in June 2027.
