Serra Yentürk Appointed Director of Turkish Non-Profit SAHA

Serra Yentürk has been named the new director of SAHA, a Turkish non-profit organization established in 2011 to support artists, curators, and arts writers while promoting international dialogue. Her appointment follows her role as Interim-Director since February, succeeding Çelenk Bafra. A search committee, led by Haro Cümbüşyan and including Aslı Meral Atay, Berna Tuğlular, Felekşan Onar, Saruhan Doğan, and Füsun Eczacıbaşı, unanimously selected Yentürk after reviewing applications from an open call. Yentürk joined SAHA in 2022 as Studio Coordinator, managing collaborations with international residency programs. Previously, she edited Borusan Contemporary in 2021 and worked as an independent curator and editor in Paris from 2016. From 2012 to 2016, she was at Galeri Nev Istanbul, where she curated the exhibition Robert Mapplethorpe: 1979-1989 in 2016. SAHA focuses on fostering artistic production and global exchanges within Turkey's art scene.
