Sergio Limonta's Solo Show at amt_project in Bratislava

Sergio Limonta (born 1972 in Lecco, lives in Milan) presents a solo exhibition at amt_project in Bratislava, featuring works of varying scales that interact visually and sonically. The show includes everyday objects and programmed dysfunctions, highlighting the primitive aspects of machines through alternating energy phases that produce light, heat, movement, and sound. In the main room, four medium-to-large works are grouped, including 'Ti amo,' a large hexagonal laminate panel with 62 bulb lamps arranged on an acrylic panel, activated by an electromechanical control every three minutes, spelling out the title's declaration through sequences of on and off. The exhibition runs until April 5, 2014, at amt_project, Stetinova 1, Bratislava.
