Sergio Ceccotti's Metaphysical Everyday at Palazzo delle Esposizioni

A solo exhibition of Sergio Ceccotti (Rome, 1935) is on view at Spazio Fontana, Palazzo delle Esposizioni in Rome. Curated by Cesare Biasini Selvaggi, the show presents Ceccotti's polychrome paintings that capture fragments of ordinary life in suspended moments, evoking domestic silence or urban unease through color and nocturnal light. The work references de Chirico, Magritte, Hopper, Cioran, and Ceronetti, with hybrid media influences from cinema and advertising posters, as well as Pop Art and Central European Expressionism. Ceccotti, an electronic engineer by profession, has organized cultural events in private galleries and institutional spaces, and his articles have appeared in periodicals including the Rivista dell’Ordine degli Ingegneri della Provincia di Roma and Expreso. The exhibition runs at Palazzo delle Esposizioni, Rome.
