La 13ª Biennale Mediacity Seoul, intitolata 'Séance: Technology of the Spirit', è curata da Anton Vidokle, Hallie Ayres e Lukas Brasiskis di e-flux. Presenta 50 artisti provenienti da tutto il mondo presso il Seoul Museum of Art (SeMA) e il centro commerciale Nakwon Sangga. Questa esposizione sostiene che l'arte funzioni come un'impresa spirituale, enfatizzando le connessioni tra astrazione e movimenti spirituali. Opere degne di nota includono una replica del demone Wamidal, le lavagne del 1922 di Rudolf Steiner e opere storiche di Georgiana Houghton e Hilma af Klint.
