Sense Sound / Sound Sense: Fluxus Music, Scores & Records in Rome
Beginning on May 6, 2016, Rome's Auditorium Parco della Musica launched a compelling exhibition examining the relationship between sound and the Fluxus movement. Entitled "Sense Sound / Sound Sense: Fluxus Music, Scores & Records in the Luigi Bonotto Collection," the event spotlights various artifacts from the Fondazione Bonotto. Curated by Walter Rovere and Patrizio Peterlini, it features an array of scores, films, documents, and performances. Highlights include John Cage’s "Notations," altered records by Ben Vautier, Nam June Paik’s "Random Access," and vinyl sculptures by Milan Knížák. The exhibition will remain open until July 2, 2016.
