Self-Taught Artist Thomas Dubois Bridges Architecture and Sci-Fi in Film and Painting

Thomas Dubois, originally an architect from Montpellier, France, has evolved into a self-taught concept artist, digital painter, and 3D creator. His initial online worldbuilding endeavors attracted the interest of Gareth Edwards, resulting in his involvement with the film The Creator. Dubois also played a role in Netflix's Love, Death & Robots and was the art director for Splinter Cell: Deathwatch, which received a Best Adaptation nomination at The Game Awards. In 2023, he directed his first short film, Solitary Waves, and is currently working on a second self-funded project set in Tokyo. His personal painting series, Echoes of Colorado, has garnered consecutive Adobe Creativity Awards, reflecting his ongoing exploration of storytelling, architecture, and landscape.
