Seletti and Codalunga collaborate on LED light projects by Nico Vascellari

architecture-design · 2026-04-27

Italian design brand Seletti has partnered with Codalunga, the factory of artist Nico Vascellari, to produce three LED light installations: DREAM MERDA, RESIST SISTER, and SANTA SATAN. These anagram-based works, originally conceived as neon pieces, are now available in smaller, more affordable LED versions. DREAM MERDA debuted in 2018 and went viral, leading to a line of T-shirts by Codalunga. Stefano Seletti, who runs the family company with his sister Miria, explains that the collaboration arose from a chance meeting at a party where Vascellari mentioned Codalunga's need for e-commerce support. Seletti, known for accessible art-inspired design, previously worked with Maurizio Cattelan and Pierpaolo Ferrari on TOILETPAPER MAGAZINE collections. The LED projects are sold at Seletti stores, online, and on Yoox for €390 each. Vascellari, born in 1976, founded Codalunga in Vittorio Veneto in 2005 as a public studio space hosting exhibitions and performances. Seletti, founded in 1964 near Mantua, has 30 employees and €16 million turnover, with offices in North America and Shanghai.
