Seipersei opens pop-up bookstore in Siena for 15th anniversary

publication · 2026-04-26

Seipersei, an independent publisher, has launched a temporary bookstore located at Via dei Montanini 30 in central Siena, which will be open until January 15 to mark nearly 15 years of its existence. Established in 2011 by Stefano Vigni and Chiara Narcisi, the company began with a self-published photography book and has since expanded its distribution to major online platforms, museum shops, and independent bookstores, while also participating in various photography fairs. The pop-up shop features the complete catalog, limited editions, fine-art prints, and posters, including a preview of the (Nerosubianco) poster series with quotes from Edoardo Lughi, Emiliano Cribari, and Stefano Vigni. In 2025, Seipersei published 14 new titles, including its first illustrated album, La coperta di Julien Bertolin, and four reprints. Plans for 2026 include launching a record label with Rosmarino by Vittorio Gramagna, alongside two new essays, a new fiction/vision series title, and a photography book, Un bosco di lupi by Alberto Alaggio, featuring poems by Franco Arminio. The store operates daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
