Second suspect released in Berlin Pride car-ramming attack

German prosecutors released a second suspect detained in connection with a deadly car-ramming attack on Berlin's Pride celebrations. The attack occurred on Saturday at 10pm in Tiergarten park near the Brandenburg Gate, killing one person. The first suspect, a 21-year-old man with a record of Islamist extremist activity, was shot dead by police on Sunday. The second suspect was released because initial suspicion that he was a passenger in the vehicle could not be upheld, according to Spiegel.
