Sebastián Díaz Morales' 'Insight' Featured in Videobrasil's Commented Archive Series

Nicolas Soares curates a commentary on Sebastián Díaz Morales' video work 'Insight' for the Acervo Comentado Videobrasil series. The piece, which debuted at the 18th Sesc_Videobrasil Contemporary Art Festival in São Paulo in 2013, features a film crew's image shattering like a broken mirror. The Acervo Comentado Videobrasil is a partnership between arte!brasileiros and the Associação Cultural Videobrasil, publishing selections from its over-30-year archive every 15 days on its platform and social media. Founded in 1991 by Solange Farkas to house a growing collection from the festival's first edition in 1983, the association systematically activates a collection focused on the geopolitical South, including Latin America, Africa, Eastern Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, with classics of video art, its own productions, and publications.
