Seahorse-inspired ridges shape LEVION gaming controllers for pre-teens

architecture-design · 2026-04-26

Designer Vedika Bapat created LEVION, a concept wireless gaming controller for pre-teens aged 9–12, inspired by seahorse anatomy. The controller features a ridged surface, curved spine, and upright stance mimicking the seahorse's body. The ridges on the lower half split the index finger and thumb base for comfort during extended play. The top includes PlayStation symbol set (cross, triangle, circle, square) as surface texture only, with a raised circular pad below. The body curves inward and widens, with the widest points at the base and thumb rest. The material resembles soft silicone. LEVION is currently a concept.
