Scott Mead Appointed Chair of The Photographers' Gallery in London

Scott Mead has been appointed as the new Chair of The Photographers' Gallery in London, succeeding Sir Brian Pomeroy CBE. Until 2003, Mead served as a partner and managing director at Goldman Sachs. He is also a founding partner of Richmond Park Partners and oversees the Mead Family Foundation. In the 1970s, he studied photography with William Eggleston and Emmet Gowin, and he returned to his photographic pursuits with a solo exhibition at Hamiltons Gallery in London in 2010. His artwork has been showcased in international exhibitions and collections, including the Royal Academy's Summer Exhibition in 2011, 2012, and 2013.
