Schmid Ziörjen Architects Collective is an architectural practice established in 2014 by Rafael Schmid and Mark Ziörjen, operating from Zurich, Switzerland. Both founders are graduates of ZHAW Winterthur. Rafael Schmid began his career at Knapkiewicz & Fickert from 2005 to 2006, then moved to Gigon Guyer in 2006-2007. He later worked with David Chipperfield Architects from 2007 to 2009, engaging in international projects, and with Berrel Kräutler in 2009-2010. Mark Ziörjen collaborated with Bétrix & Consolascio Arquitectos between 2002 and 2005, and with Gigon Guyer Arquitectos from 2006 to 2009. The collective maintains a website for its portfolio.
